Jewelry Care
Made to be worn. Cared for simply.
Every Loréva piece is built for everyday life — waterproof, hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant. A few gentle habits keep that finish looking new for far longer.
What your piece is made of
A durable stainless-steel base is finished in 18k gold plating, so the pieces you reach for most keep their warmth through showers, workouts and everyday wear.
- 18k gold plated stainless steel
- Waterproof
- Hypoallergenic
- Tarnish-resistant
The care ritual
- 1
Last on, first off
Put your jewelry on after skincare, perfume and hairspray, and take it off before you sleep. Cosmetics are the most common reason plating loses its shine.
- 2
Rinse and dry
After the pool, the sea or a long workout, rinse your piece with lukewarm water and dry it gently with a soft cloth. Salt, chlorine and dried perspiration are best not left to sit.
- 3
Clean gently
For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap and a soft cloth. Never use alcohol, bleach, abrasive polish or an ultrasonic cleaner.
- 4
Store softly
Keep each piece in its pouch or a lined box, separated from other jewelry. Chains stay untangled and surfaces stay free of scratches.
Best avoided
- Perfume, hairspray and body lotion sprayed directly onto your jewelry.
- Harsh cleaning products, alcohol-based cleaners, bleach and abrasive polishing cloths.
- Sleeping in delicate chains, where they can twist or catch.
- Storing pieces loose together, where they rub against each other.
Waterproof, explained
Waterproof means water will not damage the finish — you can shower, swim and train wearing your pieces. It does not mean the surface is indestructible. Rinsing after salt water or chlorine and drying afterwards is the single best habit you can build.
